We are committed to providing clever solutions to technological problems. In his own words, here is why you want Peter Easton working on your next project:

"I started my career writing code for embedded systems (like Point-of-Sale machines, modems and routers). Most of the software was related to communication and various communication protocols. I thought the "Palm Pilot" was quite impressive, so in January of 2000 I joined Palm Inc., and worked in the Comms group. Bluetooth was in its infancy then, and I became an evangelist for Bluetooth at Palm.
Certified Developer

After spending 2 years at Palm it was time to put the new knowledge to good use. I spent time writing freeware and shareware, and doing Palm OS consulting. I've worked on a lot of projects, but some of the more notable ones are:
  • Push-email client running in a background thread maintaining a continuous connection to a mail server. The application runs on Treo smartphones.
  • Heart monitoring application that collects a continuous stream of data over Bluetooth and FTP's it to a server for further analysis. This application required the use of 2 background threads. The application runs on Treo smartphones.
  • Phone event data collection application for Treo smartphones. The data was uploaded to a server (using HTTP POST) in the background.
  • Ported old Namco arcade games to run on Palm OS.
  • Wrote or modified existing Palm OS applications to use Bluetooth as a RS-232 "cable replacement".
I am an expert "C" programmer, and an expert on Palm OS. I have been certified by PalmSource as a highly-skilled developer. I only work on Palm OS so my knowledge of the platform and devices is second-to-none. My background helps me to produce high-quality applications very quickly, improving my clients' time-to-market while reducing development costs."
